10 CFR §1.27

1. (a)Advises the Chairman, the Commission, and NRC staff on all NRC relations with Congress and the views of Congress toward NRC policies, plans and activities;
2. (b)Maintains liaison with Congressional committees and members of Congress on matters of interest to NRC;
3. (c)Serves as primary contact point for all NRC communications with Congress;
4. (d)Coordinates NRC internal activities with Congress;
5. (e)Plans, develops, and manages NRC's legislative programs; and
6. (f)Monitors legislative proposals, bills, and hearings.
