  1. (a)Security facility approval will be terminated when:
    1. (1)There is no longer a need to use, process, store, reproduce, transmit, or handle Restricted Data at the facility; or
    2. (2)The DOE makes a determination that continued security facility approval is not in the interest of common defense and security.
  2. (b)The permittee will be notified in writing of a determination to terminate facility approval, and the procedures outlined in § 1016.27 will apply.
