10 CFR §170.20

1. (a)Except as provided in paragraphs (b) and (c) of this section, fees for permits, licenses, amendments, renewals, special projects, 10 CFR part 55 re-qualification and replacement examinations and tests, other required reviews, approvals, and inspections under §§ 170.21 and 170.31 will be calculated using the professional staff-hour rate of $318 per hour.
2. (b)For advanced nuclear reactor applicants:
   1. (1)Prior to October 1, 2025, fees under § 170.21 will be calculated using the professional staff-hour rate of $318 per hour.
   2. (2)Effective on October 1, 2025, fees under § 170.21 relating to the review of the submitted application for the advanced nuclear reactor applicant will be calculated using the reduced hourly rate of $148 per hour.
3. (c)For advanced nuclear reactor pre-applicants:
   1. (1)Prior to October 1, 2025, fees under § 170.21 will be calculated using the professional staff-hour rate of $318 per hour.
   2. (2)Effective on October 1, 2025, fees under § 170.21 relating to the review of submitted materials as described in the licensing project plan will be calculated using the reduced hourly rate of $148 per hour.
   3. (3)Paragraph (c) of this section shall cease to be effective on September 30, 2030.
