  1. (a)An application for design certification may be filed notwithstanding the fact that an application for a construction permit, combined license, or manufacturing license for such a facility has not been filed.
  2. (b)The application must comply with the applicable filing requirements of §§ 52.3 and §§ 2.811 through 2.819 of this chapter.
  3. (c)The fees associated with the review of an application for the initial issuance or renewal of a standard design certification are set forth in 10 CFR part 170.
