10 CFR §72.94

1. (a)The region must be examined for both past and present man-made facilities and activities that might endanger the proposed ISFSI or MRS. The important potential man-induced events that affect the ISFSI or MRS design must be identified.
2. (b)Information concerning the potential occurrence and severity of such events must be collected and evaluated for reliability, accuracy, and completeness.
3. (c)Appropriate methods must be adopted for evaluating the design basis external man-induced events, based on the current state of knowledge about such events.
