The following consumer products, manufactured after February 27, 1978, unless exempted by § 1303.3, are banned hazardous products (see definitions in § 1303.2):
  1. (a)Paint and other similar surface-coating materials which are “lead-containing paint.”
  2. (b)Toys and other articles intended for use by children that bear “lead-containing paint.”
  3. (c)Furniture articles that bear “lead-containing paint.”
