  1. (a)Requirement. A DoD Component's general terms and conditions must require the recipient to:
    1. (1)Obtain an entity's unique entity identifier before making a subaward to the entity;
    2. (2)Notify potential subrecipients in advance about that requirement; and
    3. (3)Conduct a pre-award risk assessment of an entity before making a subaward to the entity and adjust subaward terms and conditions if warranted by the results of the assessment.
  2. (b)Award terms and conditions. A DoD Component's general terms and conditions must use the wording appendix B to this part provides for SUB Article II.
