  1. (a)Specifications. Each milliliter of solution contains 120 milligrams (mg) of imidocarb dipropionate.
  2. (b)Sponsor. See No. 000061 in § 510.600(c) of this chapter.
  3. (c)Conditions of use in dogs—(1) Amount. Administer 6.6 mg per kilogram (3 mg per pound) of body weight by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Repeat the dose after 2 weeks for a total of two treatments.
    1. (2)Indications for use. For the treatment of clinical signs of babesiosis and/or demonstrated Babesia organisms in the blood.
    2. (3)Limitations. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
