  1. (a)Specifications. Each milliliter of solution contains 10.0 milligrams arsenamide sodium.
  2. (b)Sponsor. See No. 000010 in § 510.600(c) of this chapter.
  3. (c)Conditions of use in dogs—(1) Amount. Administer 0.1 milliliter (mL) per pound of body weight (1.0 mL for every 10 pounds) by intravenous injection twice a day for 2 days.
    1. (2)Indications for use. For the treatment and prevention of canine heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis.
    2. (3)Limitations. Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
