  1. (a)Acceptable daily intake (ADI). The ADI for total residue of flunixin is 0.72 µg/kg of body weight per day.
  2. (b)Tolerances. The tolerances for flunixin are:
    1. (1)Cattle.
      1. (i)Liver (target tissue): 125 ppb flunixin free acid (marker residue).
      2. (ii)Muscle: 25 ppb flunixin free acid.
      3. (iii)Milk: 2 ppb 5-hydroxy flunixin (marker residue).
    2. (2)Swine.
      1. (i)Liver (target tissue): 30 ppb flunixin free acid (marker residue).
      2. (ii)Muscle: 25 ppb flunixin free acid.
