  1. (a)Product. Diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of edible fats or oils, or edible fat-forming fatty acids.
  2. (b)Conditions of use. This substance is generally recognized as safe when used in accordance with good manufacturing or feeding practice.
