1. (a)Identification. A medical gas yoke assembly is a device intended to connect medical gas cylinders to regulators or needle valves to supply gases for anesthesia or respiratory therapy. The device may include a particulate filter.
2. (b)Classification. Class I (general controls). The device is exempt from the premarket notification procedures in subpart E of part 807 of this chapter subject to the limitations in § 868.9.
