  1. (a)An eligible Borrower who is an Indian must be:
    1. (1)A U.S. citizen; or
    2. (2)A lawful permanent resident alien.
  2. (b)Documentation must be provided to the Direct Guarantee Lender to support lawful residency status as defined in the Immigration and Nationality Act, codified at 8 U.S.C. 1101, et seq.
