  1. (a)Scope. This section establishes the requirements for vinyl siding and polypropylene siding used in manufactured homes.
  2. (b)Standards—(1) Vinyl siding. All vinyl siding must comply with the requirements of ASTM D3679 (incorporated by reference, see § 3280.4) and must be certified or listed and labeled as conforming to those requirements.
    1. (2)Polypropylene siding. All polypropylene siding must comply with the requirements of ASTM D7254 (incorporated by reference, see § 3280.4) and must be certified or listed and labeled as conforming to those requirements.
  3. (c)Installation. Vinyl siding and soffit installation must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. Vinyl siding and soffit installation must be based on ASTM D4756 (incorporated by reference, see § 3280.4).
