Any designation of an area as a Renewal Community will remain in effect during the period beginning on January 1, 2002, and ending on the earliest of:
  1. (a)December 31, 2009;
  2. (b)The termination date designated by the State and local governments in their nomination application, if any; or
  3. (c)The date HUD revokes the designation.
