  1. (a)The examples included in this part are provided for informational purposes and should not be construed to alter the meaning of the text of the regulations in this part.
  2. (b)As used in this part, the term “including” means “including but not limited to.”
  3. (c)All references to “days” in this part mean calendar days. In computing any time period specified in this part:
    1. (1)Exclude the day of the event that triggers the period;
    2. (2)Count every day, including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays; and
    3. (3)Include the last day of the period, but if the last day is a Saturday, Sunday, or Federal holiday, the period continues to run until the end of the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or Federal holiday.
