  1. (a)You may begin conducting the activities approved in your SAP following BOEM approval of your SAP.
  2. (b)If you are installing a facility or a combination of facilities deemed by BOEM to be complex or significant, as provided in 30 CFR 585.613(a)(1), you must comply with the requirements of subpart G of this part and submit the Safety Management System (SMS) description required by § 285.810 before construction may begin.
