You must comply with the decommissioning requirements in your BOEM-issued lease. If you fail to comply with the decommissioning requirements of your lease then:
  1. (a)BOEM may call for the forfeiture of your bond or other financial assurance;
  2. (b)You remain liable for removal or disposal costs and responsible for accidents or damages that might result from such failure; and
  3. (c)BSEE may take enforcement action under § 285.400.
