Ventilation doors shall be—
  1. (a)Substantially constructed;
  2. (b)Covered with fire-retardant material, if constructed of wood;
  3. (c)Maintained in good condition;
  4. (d)Self-closing, if manually operated; and
  5. (e)Equipped with audible or visual warning devices, if mechanically operated.
