30 CFR §585.415

  1. (a)A suspension is an interruption of the period of your lease or grant that may occur:
    1. (1)As approved by BOEM at your request, as provided in § 585.416; or
    2. (2)As ordered by BOEM, as provided in § 585.417 or by BSEE as provided in 30 CFR 285.417.
  2. (b)A lease or grant suspension extends the expiration date for the relevant period of your lease or grant for the length of time the suspension is in effect.
  3. (c)Activities may not be conducted on your lease or grant during the period of a suspension except as expressly authorized under the terms of the lease or grant suspension.
