  1. (a)Approved program required. In order to receive a grant to administer and enforce a State program, the State must have an approved State regulatory program.
  2. (b)Designation of a State agency. In order to receive a grant to administer and enforce a State program, the Governor must designate a single agency to receive and administer administration and enforcement grants, including cooperative agreement grants described in § 735.16 of this part.
  3. (c)Nondiscrimination. The agency shall monitor the compliance activity of its subrecipients with respect to the nondiscrimination provisions in § 735.21(a)(4) of this part.
