  1. (a)If it is determined that an investigation should be undertaken, such investigation shall commence no later than the end of the review period described in § 802.503.
  2. (b)An official of the Department of the Treasury shall promptly inform the parties to a covered real estate transaction in writing of the commencement of an investigation.
