  1. (a)Each lifejacket must be approved under approval series 160.002, 160.005, 160.055, 160.077, or 160.176.
  2. (b)Each lifejacket must have a light approved under approval series 161.012. Each light must be securely attached to the front shoulder area of the lifejacket.
  3. (c)Each lifejacket must have a whistle permanently attached by a cord.
  4. (d)Each lifejacket must be fitted with Type I retroreflective material, approved under approval series 164.018.
