  1. (a)Each deepwater port operator must ensure that all personnel wear personal protective equipment when within designated work areas.
  2. (b)Each deepwater port operator must ensure that:
    1. (1)All personnel engaged in the operation are trained in the proper use, limitations, and maintenance of the personal protective equipment specified by this subpart;
    2. (2)The equipment is maintained and used or worn as required by this subpart; and
    3. (3)The equipment is made available and on hand for all personnel engaged in the operation.
