  1. (a)The hazard communication program must ensure that all deepwater port employees, when required by their duties, work safely and responsibly with hazardous materials.
  2. (b)The person in charge for safety must ensure that, before a person is allowed to work at the deepwater port:
    1. (1)A copy of the hazard communication program is made available to the person; and
    2. (2)The person is trained in the information contained in the program.
  3. (c)The training must be supplemented to address each hazardous material newly introduced on the deepwater port.
