The following definitions apply to this subpart:
  1. (a)Final audit determination means the written notice of a determination issued by a designated department official based on an audit of—
    1. (1)An institution's participation in any or all of the Title IV, HEA programs; or
    2. (2)A third-party servicer's administration of any aspect of an institution's participation in any or all of the Title IV, HEA programs.
  2. (b)Final program review determination means the written notice of a determination issued by a designated department official and resulting from a program compliance review of—
    1. (1)An institution's participation in any or all of the Title IV, HEA programs; or
    2. (2)A third-party servicer's administration of any aspect of an institution's participation in any Title IV, HEA program.
