4 CFR §83.6

1. (a)With respect to each system of personnel records, GAO shall, except for disclosures made under §§ 83.4(a) and 83.4(b), keep an accurate accounting of—
   1. (1)The date, nature, and purpose of disclosure of a record to any person; and
   2. (2)The name and address of the person, agency, or organization to whom the disclosure is made.
2. (b)Such accounting shall be retained for at least 3 years or the life of the record, whichever is longer, after the disclosure for which the accounting is made.
3. (c)Except for disclosures made under § 83.4(e), the accounting shall be available upon written request to the individual named in the record.
