  1. (a)The procedure for filing and the contents of claims shall be pursuant to §§ 14.2, 14.3 and 14.4 of the regulations (28 CFR part 14).
  2. (b)Claims shall be filed directly with the local field office of the Bureau or Office of the Department out of whose activities the accident or incident occurred.
  3. (c)Upon receipt of a claim, the time and date of receipt shall be recorded. The claim shall be forwarded with the investigative file immediately to the appropriate Associate, Regional, or Field Solicitor for determination.
