  1. (a)Operators must use all reasonable precautions to prevent the waste of oil or gas developed from the lease.
  2. (b)The Authorized Officer may specify reasonable measures to prevent waste as conditions of approval of an Application for Permit to Drill (APD).
  3. (c)After an APD is approved, the Authorized Officer may order an operator to implement, within a reasonable time, additional reasonable measures to prevent waste at ongoing exploration and production operations.
  4. (d)Reasonable measures to prevent waste may reflect factors including, but not limited to, relevant advances in technology and changes in industry practice.
