  1. (a)The consent and consultation procedures required by § 3900.61 of this chapter also apply to exploration license applications.
  2. (b)If exploration activities could affect the adjacent lands under the surface management of a Federal agency other than the BLM, the BLM will consult with that agency before issuing an exploration license.
