  1. (a)Application for survey. Application for the survey of a mining claim should be filed with the State Director for the State in which the claim is situated.
  2. (b)Mineral surveyors. See § 3861.5-1 for the appointment of mineral surveyors pursuant to section 2334 of the Revised Statutes (30 U.S.C. 39).
