  1. (a)The VISTA sponsor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and oversight of the VISTA.
  2. (b)AmeriCorps is responsible for ongoing monitoring and oversight of the VISTA sponsor's project where the VISTA is assigned. AmeriCorps is responsible for selecting the VISTA, assigning the VISTA to a project, removal of a VISTA from a project, and VISTA separation actions such as termination from the VISTA program.
