  1. (a)Basis. The rules in this subpart are issued pursuant to the Communications Act of 1934, as amended.
  2. (b)Purpose. The purpose of the rules in this subpart is to implement customer proprietary network information protections for users of telecommunications relay services and point-to-point video service pursuant to sections 4, 222, and 225 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154, 222, 225.
