  1. (a)A charge that is expressed in dollars and cents per query shall be assessed upon all carriers that access validation information from a local exchange carrier database to recover the costs of:
    1. (1)The transmission facilities between the local exchange carrier's signalling transfer point and the database; and
    2. (2)The signalling transfer point facilities dedicated to the termination of the transmission facilities connecting the database to the exchange carrier's signalling network.
  2. (b)A charge that is expressed in dollars and cents per query shall be assessed upon all carriers that access validation information from a local exchange carrier line information database to recover the costs of the database.
