The 4.9 GHz Band Manager will have the following primary responsibilities:
  1. (a)Frequency coordination and interference protection for 4.9 GHz band incumbent public safety operations;
  2. (b)Incentivizing the use of the latest commercially available technologies, including 5G;
  3. (c)Facilitating non-public safety use of the 4.9 GHz band.
  4. (d)Managing a sharing agreement with the First Responders Network Authority pursuant to §§ 90.1207(h) and 2.103(b) of this chapter; and
  5. (e)Filing an annual report with the Commission.
