The career Deputy General Counsel is delegated authority to:
  1. (a)Serve as the Department's Designated Agency Ethics Official in accordance with 5 CFR 2638.202;
  2. (b)Serve as the Department's Dispute Resolution Specialist pursuant to section 3(b) of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act of 1996, Pub. L. 104-320, 5 U.S.C. App.; and
  3. (c)Serve as the Department's Chief FOIA Officer under 5 U.S.C. 552(j).
