  1. (a)Except for size and color, the INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCE label must be as follows:
  2. (b)In addition to complying with § 172.407, the background on the INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCE label must be white.
  3. (c)Labels conforming to requirements in place on August 18, 2011 may continue to be used until October 1, 2014.
