  1. (a)Except for size and color, the SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTIBLE placard must be as follows:
  2. (b)In addition to complying with § 172.519, the background color on the SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTIBLE placard must be red in the lower half and white in upper half. The letters in the word “SPONTANEOUSLY” must be at least 12 mm (0.5 inch) high. The symbol, text, class number and inner border must be black.
