49 CFR §176.146

1. (a)Except as required by paragraph (b) of this section, Class 1 (explosive) materials need not be segregated from other cargo of a non-dangerous nature.
2. (b)Readily combustible materials may not be stowed in the same compartment or hold as Class 1 (explosive) materials other than those in compatibility group S.

4. (d)In order to avoid contamination:
   1. (1)An explosive substance or article which has a secondary POISON hazard label must be stowed “separated from” all foodstuffs, except when such materials are stowed in separate closed cargo transport units, the requirements for “away from” segregation apply.
   2. (2)An explosive substance or article which has a secondary CORROSIVE hazard label must be stowed “away from” foodstuffs.
