  1. (a)Each railroad shall keep records as required by § 228.323 either—
    1. (1)On paper forms provided by the railroad, or
    2. (2)By electronic means that conform with the requirements of subpart D of this part.
  2. (b)Records required to be kept shall be made available to the Federal Railroad Administration as provided by 49 U.S.C. 20107.
