The national MCSAP elements are:
  1. (a)Driver inspections;
  2. (b)Vehicle inspections;
  3. (c)Traffic enforcement;
  4. (d)Investigations;
  5. (e)New entrant safety audits;
  6. (f)CMV safety programs focusing on international commerce in Border States;
  7. (g)Beginning October 1, 2020, full participation in PRISM or an acceptable alternative as determined by the Administrator;
  8. (h)Accurate, complete, timely, and corrected data;
  9. (i)Public education and awareness; and
  10. (j)Other elements that may be prescribed by the Administrator.
