  1. (a)A recipient of a whistleblower award is entitled to payment on the award only to the extent that a monetary sanction upon which the award is based is collected in the covered action.
  2. (b)Payment of a whistleblower award for a monetary sanction collected in connection with a covered action shall be made within a reasonable time following the later of:
    1. (1)The date on which the monetary sanction totaling over $1,000,000 is collected; or
    2. (2)The completion of the appeals process for all award determination claims arising from the Administrator's Order relating to the covered action.
