  1. (a)All terms defined in 49 U.S.C. 30102 are used in their statutory meaning.
  2. (b)Bus, gross vehicle weight rating or GVWR, low-speed vehicle, multipurpose passenger vehicle, passenger car, truck, and motorcycle are used as defined in § 571.3 of this chapter.
  3. (c)Production year means the 12-month period between September 1 of one year and August 31 of the following year, inclusive.
  4. (d)Electric Vehicle, and hybrid vehicle are used as defined in § 571.141 of this chapter.
