For separate testing of a mechanical refrigerating appliance, the following shall pertain:
  1. (a)The calibrated-box method shall be used, as set forth in ARI Standard 1110, Standard for Mechanical Refrigeration Units, of the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute.
  2. (b)The appliance shall be rated according to the class, or classes, of service for which the appliance is intended, with classes being defined as in ATP, Annex 1, paragraph 3.
  3. (c)A report of each test shall be completed on a form corresponding to the pertinent test report model prescribed in ATP, Annex 1, Appendix 2. Report forms may be obtained by a request to the ATP manager.
