The fishery management area is divided into subareas for the regulation of fishing for CPS, with the following designations and boundaries:

(a) CPS Limited Entry Zone means the EEZ between:

(1) Northern boundary—at 39°0000 N. lat. off California; and

(2) Southern boundary—the United States-Mexico International Boundary, which is a line connecting the following coordinates:

32°3522 N. lat., 117°2749 W. long.

32°3737 N. lat., 117°4931 W. long.

31°0758 N. lat., 118°3618 W. long.

30°3231 N. lat., 121°5158 W. long.

(b) Subarea A means the EEZ between:

(1) Northern boundary—the United States-Canada Provisional International Boundary, which is a line connecting the following coordinates:

48°2937.19 N. lat. 124°4333.19 W. long.

48°3011 N. lat. 124°4713 W. long.

48°3022 N. lat. 124°5021 W. long.

48°3014 N. lat. 124°5452 W. long.

48°2957 N. lat. 124°5914 W. long.

48°2944 N. lat. 125°0006 W. long.

48°2809 N. lat. 125°0547 W. long.

48°2710 N. lat. 125°0825 W. long.

48°2647 N. lat 125°0912 W. long.

48°2016 N. lat. 125°2248 W. long.

48°1822 N. lat. 125°2958 W. long.

48°1105 N. lat. 125°5348 W. long.

47°4915 N. lat. 126°4057 W. long.

47°3647 N. lat. 127°1158 W. long.

47°2200 N. lat. 127°4123 W. long.

46°4205 N. lat. 128°5156 W. long.

46°3147 N. lat. 129°0739 W. long.; and

(2) Southern boundary—at 39°0000 N. lat. (Pt. Arena).

(c) Subarea B means the EEZ between:

(1) Northern boundary—at 39°0000 N. lat. (Pt. Arena); and

(2) Southern boundary—the United States-Mexico International Boundary described in paragraph (a)(2) of this section.
