SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Background
This document contains amendments to 26 CFR part 301. Section 301.7701-2(c)(2)(i) of the regulations specifies that, except as otherwise provided, a business entity that has a single owner and is not a corporation under § 301.7701-2(b) is disregarded as an entity separate from its owner (a disregarded
) light emitting diodes; and
(B) any other technology of equal or greater energy efficiency;
(13) development, implementation, and installation on or in any government building of the eligible entity of onsite renewable energy technology that generates electricity from renewable resources, including—
(A) solar energy;
(B) wind energy;
commercial generation of electricity; and
(B) that generates electricity from—
(i) solar, wind, or geothermal energy or ocean energy;
(ii) biomass (as defined in section 15852(b) of this title);
(iii) landfill gas; or
(7) Outdoor furnace or boiler is a furnace or boiler normally intended for installation out-of-doors or in an unheated space (such as an attic or a crawl space).
(8) Weatherized warm air furnace or boiler means a furnace or boiler designed for installation outdoors, approved for resistance to wind, rain, and snow, and supplied with its own venting system.
