  1. (a)In GeneralThere shall be a Director of the Coast Guard Investigative Service.
  2. (b)Chain of CommandThe Director of the Coast Guard Investigative Service shall report directly to and be under the general supervision of the Commandant, acting through the Vice Commandant of the Coast Guard.
