- (a)In generalThe Secretary, acting through the Commissioner of Food and Drugs, shall automate appropriate activities of the Food and Drug Administration to ensure timely review of activities regulated under this chapter.
- (b)Authorization of appropriationsThere are authorized to be appropriated each fiscal year such sums as are necessary to carry out this section.
