22 U.S.C. § 3641

1. (1)“Executive agency” has the meaning given that term in section 105 of title 5;
2. (2)“uniformed services” has the meaning given that term in section 2101(3) of title 5;
3. (3)“competitive service” has the meaning given that term in section 2102 of title 5; and
4. (4)“United States”, when used in a geographic sense, means each of the several States and the District of Columbia.
