In this chapter:
- (1)The term “act of international terrorism” has the meaning given that term in section 14 of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 (Public Law 104–172; 50 U.S.C. 1701 note).
- (2)The term “appropriate congressional committees” has the meaning given that term in section 14 of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 (Public Law 104–172; 50 U.S.C. 1701 note).
- (3)The term “foreign person” means a person that is not a United States person.
- (4)The term “Iranian person” means—
- (5)The term “IRGC” means Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
- (6)The term “knowingly” has the meaning given that term in section 14 of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 (Public Law 104–172; 50 U.S.C. 1701 note).
